SCAINET started in 2024 with a simple belief: humans and AI do their best work together, with clear roles and real accountability. Two years on, that belief is Forge, Build, and a product range that keeps growing.

Forge gives individuals and teams a place to run agents with structure, visibility, and control. Build takes that expertise into businesses. Everything we ship started as a tool we needed ourselves.

The internet is turning agentic. We want that shift to be practical — for people, families, and businesses — without giving up judgment, privacy, or control.

From zero code to a product company
SCAINET founded
Started in Adelaide with a conviction: humans and AI do their best work together, with clear roles and real accountability. The Agent Excellence Framework begins as the house rules for building that way.
First products ship
Family Hub goes from zero to live. The methodology proves itself on real products and starts pointing at something bigger.
Forge v1.0 — and Paul joins
The Agent Development Environment launches. Five research papers published on Zenodo. Paul Lewis joins as co-founder and CTO.
The IP gets protected
First six provisional patents filed with IP Australia. Three more follow — nine filed in total.
Forge in the wild
Public Forge releases ship at pace on scainetforge.com. Build opens for business at build.scainet.io. scainet.io becomes the company's front door.
